There are few better ways to practice problem solving than competing in a puzzle hunt, and few better ways to exercise some creativity than writing an interesting puzzle.  I helped CMU KGB and later PuzzlehuntCMU make puzzles and run puzzle hunts for several years; here are the puzzles that have made it to hunts (all puzzles solve to a one-phrase answer):

Word Squares  | Solution | (Crossword-esque puzzle from Spring 2012)
Squid Symbols | Solution | (Logic puzzle from Fall 2012)
After the Storm| Solution | (Wordplay puzzle from Fall 2012)
Rock You Like a Hurricane| Solution | (Music puzzle from Fall 2012)
Hazardous Weather           | Solution | (Weather wordplay puzzle from Fall 2012)
An Adjective is Worth a Thousand Words | Solution | (Wordplay puzzle from Spring 2013)
Musical Intersection | Solution | (Music mashup puzzle from Spring 2013)

In November 2019, I launched a Kickstarter for my light drafting card game, Mint Condition Comics, published by neat games.  You can read more about it here: http://www.playneatgames.com/  It came out in August/September 2020, and has a BoardGameGeek entry here: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/290468/mint-condition-comics
