I am a theoretical computer scientist, mathematician, teacher, musician, and puzzlemaker. I'm currently a lecturer at the University of Illinois - Chicago. My time there is coming to an end in August and I'm actively looking for my next challenge!
I graduated in August 2015 with a Masters in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara, working on cryptography projects with Stefano Tessaro. My undergraduate degree is a B.S. in Computer Science with a double major in Discrete Math & Logic from Carnegie Mellon received in May 2014 with honors.
After graduating from UCSB, I worked for a year and a half as a trader at Charlesworth Research before transitioning into a teaching position at the University of Illinois.
I'm currently looking for a new position to start in Fall 2017, so if you're a Chicago company looking for someone who has a problem-solving mind, has a wide range of quantitative skills, and is good at teaching concepts, reach out to me at: retterermoore AT gmail DOT com
